In this day of franchise stores and towns that pretty much look the same from one strip mall to the next, Levin's Shoes & Dry Goods, just like the town, Marengo, retain a distinctive homey and personal air. The owners proudly state, "We emphasize quality, price and service. Customers get individual attention." Levin's even orders merchandise, such as wide width shoes, with particular customers in mind.
