What is the most important aspect of owning your own money making website? In my honest opinion, it is Traffic. So the question is, "how do I generate targeted traffic to my website". You see all this information available on the internet on how to generate traffic to your site and you may be spending money on this and that, trying to increase the traffic to your site. Don’t waste your money on buying traffic. You can get all the traffic you desire by following these few, easy steps.
1. Make sure that your website is optimized for your chosen keyword. It is important that your meta tags are correct for the keyword that you are promoting. Don’t ever under estimate the power of optimizing your website to your keywords. You must optimize your website to the keywords or phrase that you have chosen for the search engines.
2. Submit your site to the major search such as

5. Do some forum posting. Join forums that relate to what you are selling or promoting. Then setup a signature file with your website in it. When you post in these forums you will create links to your site. But remember one extremely important thing. These forums are a huge treasure chest of information. You can learn a lot by just reading. Don’t post just to get your signature file shown. Read, read, and then read some more. Then, if you have something beneficial to contribute, post it. If you post garbage to just show your signature file, you will come to be known as unreliable. You want people to see you as someone who posts positive, helpful, and informative information.
After applying the above techniques, you can check and see how well you are doing. Continue to follow the above techniques and you will watch the links grow. Your aim is to continually increase these numbers until you get on the first page of the search engines for your chosen keyword phrase.
